Alberta Clinical Ethics Committee Chairs and Contacts

 Clinical Ethics Committees exist within health regions and institutions, usually for the purpose of coordinating ethics education activities, providing consultation on ethics issues, providing ethics review of institutional policy, or a combination of the three. If you, as a patient, family or staff member, have an ethics issue you would like addressed, contact the ethics committee at the appropriate health institution. If the health institution does not have an ethics committee listed, or the issue did not arise within a particular institution, you may wish to contact the ethics contact person listed for the particular Health Region in which you live.
